Gilgamesh, who is two-thirds god and one-third human, does not leave a son to his father and does not leave a girl to her mother. What do you think these statements mean?

Just from reading the first few pages of this epic, what sort of king does Gilgamesh appear to be? Is he well liked by his people? Thus far, what role does Enkidu play within the Epic of Gilgamesh?

If Gilgamesh is part God, why didnt he just take out Enkidu instead of send the harlot Shamhat and do you think that telling Enkidu about Gilgameshs plans was part of the plan to seduce him?

Gilgamesh seems to be very powerful and a violent ruler. The people of Uruk seem to fear Gilgamesh, since it is said that Gilgamesh "struts his power over the people like a wild bull." The people of Uruk probably don't like Gilgamesh because of the violent acts he commits. So far, Enkidu is a possible threat to Gilgamesh's power. Enkidu's strength has been described as mighty as the meteorite of Anu. Enkidu will possibly conquer Gilgamesh or become friends with him later on in the epic.
